Men's Basketball Show Out on Homecoming Weekend, Defeating Davidson CC

Norfolk, VA – Bryant & Stratton College Men's Varsity basketball team went undefeated Homecoming weekend.  Saturday afternoon, BSC took the win over Davidson CC  85-79.  On a high from Saturday, the Bobcats closed out the weekend with a victory over Pitt CC 76-63, bringing their conference record (4-1).

The advantage of home court advantage plus a thunderous "White-out" crowd for Homecoming weekend set the tone for game one.  Students, faculty, and family wore "White-Out" t-shirts to support and cheer their Bobcats to victory.  With a combined 60 points, Leland Richardson, JaJa Davis and Caleb Miles led the Bobcats to victory.  Leland Richardson added 6 assists and 5 rebounds to seal the victory over Davidson CC. 

Montez Venable scored 30 of the 79 points for the Storm.  Jake Kelsey added 14 points, 3 assists and 2 rebounds.  

 

Game #2: Pitt CC 63; Bryant & Stratton College 76

The Bobcats, second game of Homecoming weekend, picked up where they left Saturday.  Sunday afternoon, BSC took the court to match up against the Bulldogs of Pitt CC.  

JaJa Davis, Mathias Caver and Leland Richardson put on a show for the home court crowd, scoring double digits on the night.  They clawed to a 37-29 lead going into the half.

Reginald Clark led the Bulldogs scoring 12 points, 2 assists and 2 steals.  It wasn't enough to hold off the Bobcats, they went on the take the win 76-63.  

The Bobcats return home on Saturday, December 8thand Sunday, December 9th @ 3pm.
