The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 13-4 loss to Lenoir Community College Lancers on Saturday in Game 1.

#15 Davis Snyder took the loss for the Bobcats allowing six hits and four runs over two innings, striking out two.

On the other  side of the ball, the Bobcats totaled six hits, #26 Nathan Maestre and #6 Dominick Proctor both collected two hits to lead the team.

Both Bryant & Stratton Bobcats Varsity and Lenoir Community College Lancers had their offenses going on Saturday, but it was the Bryant & Stratton Bobcats whom prevailed 14-6 in Game 2, clinching the #4 seed for playoffs.

#48 Ashe Ammerlaan started the game for the Bobcats allowing two hits and four runs over three innings, striking out six. #12 Darian Fumero was the winning pitcher for The Bobcats allowing two hits and two runs over three innings, striking out two and walking one. #1 Jody Luis Otero threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

The Bobcats opened up scoring in the first inning when #26 Nathan Maestre doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

The Bobcats took the lead for good with three runs in the fourth inning led by #13 Devin Hicks with a single on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs and #4 Juan Mejias drew a walk, scoring one run.

The Bobcats notched seven runs in the sixth inning led by #43 Ryland Brown, #26 Maestre, #42 Wilbert Perez, #6 Dominick Proctor, and #13 Hicks, all driving in runs in the inning.

The Bobcats racked up 14 hits on the day, #6 Proctor, #13 Hicks, #26 Maestre, #43 Brown, and #23 Carlos Negron all collected multiple hits for the Bobcats, while #13 Hicks and #6 Proctor each managed three hits to lead the team.

The Bobcats didn't commit a single error in the field, #26 Maestre had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.

Game 3 was canceled due to the weather. The Bobcats will start their playoffs on the road against Catawba Valley Community College Thursday 5/4, 1pm.
