Game 1
A solo home run to center field by #5 Colin Smith put Bobcats on the board in the bottom of the third. The Trojans would tie the game in the top of the fourth from a homer and a solo home run to right field by #26 Whitehurst gave Bobcats the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the fifth.
The Bobcats added to their lead with four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning thanks to home runs by #37 Wilbert Perez and #26 Whitehurst.
The Bobcats's #26 Gavin Whitehurst powered through the Trojans and finished with two home runs and 4 RBIs as Bobcats defeated Fayetteville Tech Trojans 10-1 in game 1.

#9 Derek Arrocha struck out 10 batters on the day allowing five hits and four runs over six innings while walking none. #49 Jay Leonard threw one inning of shutout ball in relief allowing zero hits, striking out one and walking two.
