The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats erupted for 16 hits in a 15-7 victory over Wake Tech in game one.
Nelson Zapata and Chris Johnson got the offense rolling in the first inning with a two-run single and an RBI double, while Zapata later added a triple. Dakota Doll and Diego Melendez each recorded three hits, and the Bobcats showed patience at the plate, drawing nine walks and swiping six bases, led by Bishop Quarles' three steals.
Casey Proctor earned the win, tossing 5.2 innings while Miguel Cortes shut the door with 2.1 scoreless frames in relief. The Bobcats' defense turned two double plays to help contain a sixth-inning surge from Wake Tech, which included a three-run homer by Rickabaugh. With the win, Bryant & Stratton continues to build momentum in the second half of the season.
Despite out-hitting Wake Tech 8-6, the Bryant & Stratton Bobcats came up just short in a 7-6 loss in game two.
Josh Smith and Nelson Zapata each recorded two hits and two RBIs, with Smith delivering an RBI double and an RBI single, while Zapata added a key sacrifice fly. Justin Smith also contributed with a sac fly in the fourth inning to give the Bobcats a brief lead.
On the mound, Jason Johnson started for the Bobcats, allowing five runs over 4.1 innings, while Derek Arrocha took the loss in relief despite not allowing an earned run. The Bobcats played clean defense with no errors, and catcher Jake Dellavecchia led the team with seven chances in the field. Despite the tough loss, the Bobcats showed strong offensive balance and solid defensive execution throughout the game.

Doll finished 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a double, and three RBIs. The Bobcats exploded for 18 hits, including big performances from Diego Melendez, Sylvester Clarke, and Ben Meeks—who drove in five runs on a 3-for-5 day. A seven-run sixth inning broke the game open, highlighted by Doll's two-run double and key hits from Clarke and Meeks.
Mason Sylvest picked up the win on the mound, striking out three over two innings. The Bobcats ran wild with six stolen bases and were sharp defensively, committing no errors. Doll led the team with eight fielding chances, capping off a stellar all-around performance as the Bobcats closed out a strong weekend series.

Elias Hicks took the loss for the Bobcats, allowing three runs over 3.2 innings, while the team totaled just five hits in the game. Despite the loss, the Bobcats showed flashes of promise early, tying the game twice before Richard Bland pulled away in the later innings.
