Bobcats Cruise to Victory, Starting Off the New Year Hot

Starting competition in the New Year, the Bryant & Stratton Bobcats (9-5) hosted the Catawba Valley Community College Red Hawks (3-6) in a conference matchup.
The Bobcats had an entirely new starting lineup in this one with the hopes to start the year off perfect. The change would be effective for the Bobcats as they would take the lead early in the first half an never look back taking a 14pt lead (64-50) heading into the half. At one point, the Bobcats would find themselves up 40pts thanks to a career night from #1 Kahlil Oden shooting (7/10) from 3pt, having a career high in points with 27 & a personal best, finishing 70% in field goal percentage.
The winter break seemed to benefit the men as everyone would post on the stat sheet and earn this win as a collective (116-98).
The Bobcats were led by #1 Kahlil Oden with 27pts (career-high), 6ast, Kimoni Small with 18pts (career-high), 6reb & #0 Josiah Dow with 16pts, 10reb (3rd Double-double of the season)
The next time the Bobcats (10-5) will be in action they will host Chesapeake College (5-8) this Saturday at 4:30pm
