Bobcats Handle GTCC at Home, Improve to 3–1 with 80–71 Victory
The Bryant & Stratton College (VA) Bobcats protected home court securing an 80–71 win over the Guilford Technical Community College Titans in a strong all-around performance. The Bobcats set the tone early with a 43-point first half and maintained steady control the rest of the way, answering every GTCC run with timely scoring and defensive stops.
Kylan Clark led the Bobcats with 15 points on 5-of-12 shooting, knocking down four threes to stretch the floor. Jalen Milt added 13 points and nine rebounds in a physical two-way effort, while Mikel Chappell delivered a huge spark off the bench with 13 points on efficient shooting. Caleb Jackson continued his dominance on the glass with 11 rebounds, and Elijah Mendoza contributed seven points, nine boards, and strong interior defense. In total, BSC shared the ball well with 20 assists, had 14 steals, and out-rebounded GTCC 43–41.
Despite shooting under 40% from the field, the Bobcats' defensive pressure and second-chance opportunities made the difference. Ten players contributed points, showcasing the team's depth and balance. The win adds momentum to a solid early-season stretch as BSC looks to continue building consistency on both ends of the floor.
