Game 1 vs Chesapeake College

The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats beat the Chesapeake Community College Shipjacks 4-1 on Friday.

The Bobcats got things moving in the first inning, when #12 Chloe Gust's sac fly scored one run.

#12 Gust got the start for surrendering just one run on four hits over seven innings, striking out eight.

The Bobcats tallied seven hits, #7 Asijah Hammons and #2 I'yana Betts each managed multiple hits. #7 Hammons went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the team in hits.

Game 2 vs Chesapeake College

The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats captured the lead early and never let go in there 13-5 victory over the Chesapeake College Shipjacks on Friday.

#23 Alyssa Galvan led things off on the rubber lasting one inning, allowing three hits and two runs while walking one.

The Bobcats captured the lead in the first inning when #00 Amhara Simmiolkjier singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

The Shipjacks would get involved and even things up with two scores in the first inning and then take the lead with two scores in the second.

The Bobcats took the lead back for good with three runs in the second inning when #12 Gust homered on a 2-2 count, scoring three runs. #12 Gust would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Friday, driving in four on three hits to lthe Bobcats past the Shipjacks 13-5 on Friday. 

The Bobcats notched six runs in the fourth inning, the offensive firepower was led by #7 Asijah Hammons, #5 Kaitlyn Covey, #12 Gust, #21 Kira Turner, and #2 I'yana Betts, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

The Bobcats socked two home runs on the day, #7 Hammons went deep in the first inning & #12 Gust went yard in the second inning.

The Bobcats tallied eight hits in the game, #12 Gust and #2 Betts each had multiple hits, #12 Gust went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the team in hits. The team was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error, #00 Simmiolkjier made the most plays with six.

Game 1 vs Pitt

#12 Chloe Gust got the start lasting two innings, allowing one run on one hit, striking out one and walking one.

The Bobcats got things moving in the first inning, when #7 Hammons homered on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs.

The Bobcats scored ten runs in the second inning, the rally was led by singles by #20 Shayla Hurley (x2), #21 Kira Turner, #7 Hammons, #00 Amhara Simmiolkjier, and doubles by #00 Simmiolkjier and #9 Emily Edwards, and a walk by #9 Edwards.

The base paths were crowded in this high-scoring game. The Bobcats collected 23 hits and the Bulldogs had four.

The Bulldogs scored five runs in the third inning which were matched by the Bobcats at five.

The Bobcats tallied five home runs on the day, #7 Hammons had a dinger in the first and fourth innings, #12 Gust had two four baggers in the fourth inning, & #21 Turner had a homer in the fourth inning.

The Bobcats Varsity tallied 23 hits. #20 Hurley, #7 Hammons, #12 Gust, #00 Simmiolkjier, #21 Turner,  #11 Isabella Wren, and #9 Edwards all managed multiple hits. #12 Gust, #7 Hammons, and #20 Hurley all had four hits to leadthe team. The Bobcats were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. #00 Simmiolkjier had the most chances in the field with four.

Game 2 vs Pitt

The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats snatched the lead late in the game in a 14-3 victory over Pitt Community College Bulldogs Varsity on Saturday.

#12 Gust was the winning pitcher lasting six innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out seven.

In the top of the third inning, Bobcats tied things up at two when #21 Kira Turner doubled, bringin in two runs.

The game was tied at two with the Bobcats then batting in the top of the fourth when #12 Chloe Gust homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs pulling away for good.

The Bobcats put up ten runs in the sixth inning, big bats in the inning were led by singles by #2 I'yana Betts, #7 Asijah Hammons, and #12 Gust, walks by #21 Turner and #26 Madison Watkins, and two doubles by #11 Isabella Wren

The Bobcats scattered 14 hits in the game, #12 Gust, #21 Turner, #2 Betts, #11 Wren, and #9 Emily Edwards each racked up multiple hits, #12 Gust led the team with three hits in three at bats driving in runs on a homer in the fourth and a single in the sixth.
