Game One vs. Glen Oaks CC:
Pressure on the basepaths and timely execution helped the Bobcats grind out a hard-fought road victory, finding ways to manufacture runs throughout the game. Even without a big extra-base hit barrage, Bryant & Stratton consistently applied pressure and forced Glen Oaks into difficult situations.
After falling behind early in the first, the Bobcats responded in the third when Kaylie Kellerby brought home Kiaya Lewis on a sacrifice. The two sides traded runs again in the fourth, with Lewis delivering an RBI single to score Brooklyn Munch and keep things even.
The turning point came in the fifth inning, where Bryant & Stratton's aggressiveness took over. Mckenzye Boblitt and Berry Rosychuk each stole home in a heads-up sequence, while Aurora Kennedy added an RBI groundout to cap a three-run inning that gave the Bobcats control.
Glen Oaks added a run in the bottom half of the fifth, but the Bobcats pitching staff held firm the rest of the way to secure a 5-4 win.
Kiaya Lewis led the offense with two hits, including a triple, and an RBI, while Emerson McAllister and Ava Hohenadel each added two hits of their own. The Bobcats were relentless on the bases, with Boblitt and Rosychuk each swiping three bags and helping fuel the offense. In the circle, Jada Kezema earned the win with four solid innings, allowing three runs (two earned), while Sophia Elderbaum closed things out over the final three innings to lock down the victory.
Game Two vs. Danville Area CC:
A tightly contested battle saw the Bobcats manufacture offense and get a strong outing in the circle, keeping things close from start to finish. Bryant & Stratton broke through in the third inning when Berry Rosychuk delivered an RBI single to bring home Emerson McAllister, who finished the day with three hits at the top of the lineup.
Danville answered in the fourth to even things up, and both teams settled into a defensive rhythm behind solid pitching. Hilary Stevenson kept the Bobcats in control throughout much of the game, limiting damage and working through traffic across her outing.
The game remained deadlocked late before Danville capitalized in the seventh, using a bunt and an error to bring home the go-ahead run. Despite the late push, the Bobcats were unable to respond in their final at-bats, falling 2-1.
Emerson McAllister led the offense with a perfect 3-for-3 performance, while Rosychuk added the lone RBI. Ava Hohenadel and Mckenzye Boblitt each chipped in with a hit. In the circle, Stevenson turned in a strong complete-game effort, allowing just two runs (one earned) while keeping the Bobcats within striking distance all game.
Game Three vs. Danville Area CC:
Pitching and defense dictated the pace early as both teams worked through scoreless innings to start the contest. The Bobcats found a few opportunities on the bases, with Kiaya Lewis collecting two hits and swiping multiple bags to provide a spark offensively.
Danville broke through in the third inning and gradually added on, taking advantage of key moments to extend their lead in the fifth and sixth. While Bryant & Stratton continued to battle and put runners on, timely hits proved difficult to come by against a strong outing from Danville's pitcher.
The Bobcats were held off the scoreboard as Danville pulled away late for a 4-0 decision.
Kiaya Lewis led the way with two hits, including a double, while Emerson McAllister and Evangaline Destito each added a hit. Mckenzye Boblitt also contributed offensively and was active on the bases.
