Newly Ranked #18 Lady Bobcats Perfect 4th Quarter Mounts Comeback to Defeat Bland at Home
The #1 conference seeded (#18 in the country) Bryant & Stratton Lady Bobcats (23-1), on 18 game win streak hosted the Richard Bland Statesmen riding a 7 game win streak of their own.
The Bobcats unlike any game this season faced a ton of adversity throughout the whole game. The Statesmen started out hot and didnt let up, winning the first & second quarter, resulting in the Bobcats taking a (34-38) deficit into halftime. To start the second half, things didnt look great in the view of the Bobcats as the deficit would grow to as large as 10pts. That is before #3 Liv Bodenheimer hit a raimbow 3pt off the glass to ignight a spark and start the comback late in the 3rd. The Bobcats came out strong in the final frame outscoring the Statesmen (22-4) and take the win (70-58) at home.
The Bryant & Stratton Lady Bobcats moves to 23-1 overall, 20-1 in conference play after completeing the sweep of the Statesmen in their second meeting of the season.
Up next, the Bobcats will travel to Catonsville to take on the Cardinals (18-4) who are on a 7 game winning streak Wednesday at 4pm.
