Game One:
The Bobcats saw their postseason hopes take a major hit Friday afternoon as Bryant & Stratton College dropped a 13-10 slugfest to Lenoir Community College in the opening game of a must-win series. Bryant & Stratton jumped out early with a pair of first-inning runs before erupting for six runs in the sixth inning to erase a seven-run deficit and tie the contest at 10-10. Nelson Zapata highlighted the comeback effort with a two-run homer, while Jack Painter, Roy Rodriguez, and Juan Del Mejia Mena each drove in key runs during the rally. The Bobcats finished with 12 hits and 10 walks offensively, with Sylvester Clarke scoring three times at the top of the lineup.
Lenoir answered late, however, reclaiming the lead with three runs in the sixth before adding an insurance run in the ninth to secure the victory. Rahkeem Williams drove in three runs for the visitors, while Charlie Sindhal added a homer and three runs scored. Despite another explosive offensive performance from the Bobcats, the loss placed Bryant & Stratton in a difficult position with their playoff hopes hanging by a thread heading into the remainder of the series.
Game Two:
Bryant & Stratton battled until the final out in game two of Friday's doubleheader, but a late run by Lenoir Community College handed the Bobcats an 11-10 defeat and officially ended their postseason hopes. The Bobcats traded blows throughout the night, collecting 14 hits in another high-scoring affair. Nelson Zapata delivered a two-run double in the first inning, Roy Rodriguez drove in three runs, and Sylvester Clarke launched a two-run homer while finishing 3-for-3 at the plate. Bryant & Stratton answered nearly every Lenoir rally and entered the late innings tied after Brandon Ostalaza delivered an RBI single in the seventh.
The visitors ultimately broke through in the eighth on a wild pitch after capitalizing on multiple opportunities throughout the contest. Lenoir hit three home runs, including a three-run blast from Jordan Driver, while Brennan Moran and Alex Guevara also went deep. Despite the disappointing finish, the Bobcats continued to show resilience offensively, battling through adversity until the final inning as the season neared its close.
Game Three:
With the postseason no longer within reach, the Bobcats closed the 2026 campaign in unforgettable fashion Saturday afternoon, outlasting Lenoir Community College 21-18 in a wild offensive showdown. Bryant & Stratton exploded for 20 hits and five home runs, overcoming multiple deficits to secure the season-ending victory. Angel Ariona delivered one of the biggest performances of the season with five RBIs, including a grand slam during a six-run seventh inning. Roy Rodriguez added a grand slam of his own, while Nelson Zapata, Benjamin Meeks, and Jack Painter each homered in the offensive outburst. Brandon Ostalaza sparked the lineup off the bench, scoring three runs during the comeback effort.
The Bobcats erased an early 6-1 deficit and survived a back-and-forth battle that featured 39 combined runs and 39 hits. DJ Clifford earned the win in relief while Angel Eysseric closed out the final innings to seal the victory. Though Bryant & Stratton did not advance to the postseason, the Bobcats ended the year showing the fight, toughness, and offensive firepower that defined much of their season. Their thrilling 21-18 finale now serves as motivation and fuel for the program as the Bobcats begin the grind to rise once again next season.
