Bobcats Fall to CCBC Dundalk, 71–61
The Bryant & Stratton College (VA) Bobcats came up short against CCBC Dundalk, dropping a 71–61 decision in a defensive-oriented matchup where scoring runs were hard to come by. Both teams struggled from the free-throw line, and the contest remained within reach into the second half before Dundalk created separation with timely perimeter shooting.
The Bobcats were led by Johntez Raspberry, who finished with nine points, while Travis Hamilton added eight points and Elijah Mendoza pulled down a team-high eight rebounds. Jalen Milt contributed 10 points and five rebounds, but Bryant & Stratton was limited to 30.0% shooting from three-point range and just 5-of-15 from the free-throw line, making it difficult to close the gap.
Defensively, the Bobcats held CCBC Dundalk to 40.9% shooting and forced 10 turnovers, but Dundalk's edge on the glass and three-point efficiency proved to be the difference. Bryant & Stratton will look to rebound quickly as they continue through a demanding stretch of the schedule.
