#13 Bobcats Close Strong at Home to Secure 78–73 Win
The Bryant & Stratton College (VA) Bobcats defended their home court with a hard-earned 78–73 victory, holding off a determined effort from Wake Technical Community College. The Bobcats set the tone early with active defense and strong rebounding, edging ahead after the first quarter and staying aggressive through a competitive first half. Despite momentum swings, Bryant & Stratton remained composed and went into halftime locked in on execution at both ends of the floor.
The game tightened in the third quarter as Wake Tech pushed the pace, but the Bobcats responded with balanced scoring and toughness in the paint. Myla Parker led the way with a game-high 22 points, knocking down key shots and finishing through contact, while Sian Lewin added 17 points and filled the stat sheet with assists and steals. Carissa Frederick controlled the glass with a double-double effort, helping Bryant & Stratton battle through physical play and keep the game within reach heading into the final period.
In the fourth quarter, the Bobcats elevated their play and closed the game with confidence. Strong ball movement produced 22 team assists, and repeated trips to the free-throw line helped Bryant & Stratton maintain control late.
