#13 Bobcats Pull Away in Second Half to Earn 70–56 Victory over Fayetteville Tech
The Bryant & Stratton College (VA) Bobcats showed composure and toughness in a 70–56 victory, overcoming an early challenge to take control of the game. The Bobcats weathered a fast start from Fayetteville Technical CC in the opening quarter, staying poised while finding their rhythm on both ends of the floor. By turning up the defensive pressure and sharing the ball effectively in the second quarter, Bryant & Stratton began to swing momentum and set the tone for a strong finish.
The Bobcats took full command coming out of halftime, delivering their most complete stretch of basketball in the third quarter. Sian Lewin led the way with a game-high 23 points, attacking the lane and converting at the free-throw line while also creating opportunities for teammates. Hailey Harris provided a major spark from long range, knocking down four three-pointers as Bryant & Stratton stretched the lead with efficient offense and disciplined execution.
Down the stretch, the Bobcats stayed locked in and closed the game with confidence. Strong ball movement resulted in 21 team assists, and steady free-throw shooting helped maintain separation late. Fayetteville Technical CC continued to compete, but Bryant & Stratton's defensive activity and control of the tempo sealed the win, completing a well-rounded performance by the Bobcats.
