#13 Bobcats Battle Early, Fall 69–60 on the Road at Louisburg
The Bryant & Stratton College (VA) Bobcats came out sharp on the road, taking a slim lead after the first quarter and setting the tone with aggressive offense and confident execution. The Bobcats edged ahead early behind balanced scoring and strong guard play, carrying momentum into the second quarter. While Louisburg College answered with timely stops, Bryant & Stratton remained composed and competitive heading into halftime after building a 38–33 advantage through disciplined play.
Coming out of the break, the Bobcats continued to fight, but the game shifted in the third quarter as Louisburg began to control the paint and swing momentum. Hailey Harris led Bryant & Stratton with 18 points, knocking down three shots from beyond the arc and converting at the free-throw line, while Janiyaha Pickett and Sian Lewin added 13 points apiece. Despite solid shot selection, the Bobcats were limited by turnovers and second-chance opportunities that allowed the home team to close the gap.
In the fourth quarter, the Bobcats stayed competitive but struggled to regain control as Louisburg pulled away late. Bryant & Stratton showed toughness at the line, shooting over 94 percent from the stripe, and continued to battle defensively until the final buzzer. Although the result didn't go their way, the Bobcats displayed resilience and effort throughout the contest, taking valuable lessons forward from a hard-fought road matchup.
