Balanced Effort Powers Bobcats Past Guilford Tech
A fast start set the tone as the Bryant & Stratton (VA) College Bobcats established control early against Guilford Technical Community College. Defensive pressure held Guilford Tech to just nine points in the opening quarter while the Bobcats found their rhythm offensively, building a 24–9 advantage after one. The momentum continued into the second quarter as efficient shooting and active defense helped extend the lead to 40–22 at halftime.
The Bobcats continued to dictate the pace after the break, turning defensive stops into transition opportunities. A 21-point third quarter pushed the margin further out of reach as the offense spread the scoring across the lineup while maintaining control on the glass. Bryant & Stratton finished the night shooting over 61 percent from the field and recorded 24 assists as a team.
Sian Lewin led the way with 19 points while filling the stat sheet with six assists, six steals, and five blocks. Hailey Harris added 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Carissa Frederick contributed 12 points and five rebounds. Sanai Johnson chipped in 12 points off the bench as the Bobcats secured the 79–45 victory to advance in postseason play.

The Bobcats held a narrow 16–13 edge after the opening quarter, using efficient shooting and defensive pressure to set the tone early. Both teams continued to trade momentum through the second quarter, heading into halftime tied at 32–32.
The contest remained close throughout the second half as Fayetteville Technical created a slight advantage during the third quarter. Bryant & Stratton responded with timely baskets and defensive stops to keep the game within reach in the closing minutes, but the visitors were able to maintain their lead down the stretch in a narrow finish.
Sian Lewin paced the Bobcats with 22 points while adding three steals and three blocks, and Sanai Johnson contributed 14 points off the bench. Hailey Harris finished with 13 points while Carissa Frederick grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite the 66–62 result, the loss brings an end to a remarkable season for Bryant & Stratton, highlighted by the program capturing its fourth consecutive regular season title. The defeat also halts the Bobcats' pursuit of a fourth straight conference tournament championship, leaving the program at three consecutive conference titles while closing the year with another historic run.
